I see dog training as the way for YOU to effectively communicate with your dog and to help your dog adjust to the demands of being well-behaved in the human world.
My dog training programs are uniquely designed to fit your goals, your dog’s personality and your dog’s individual learning style. I do NOT believe in a single approach to training and I will use a variety of the most effective methods and tools to ensure my training program meets your needs and brings out the best in your dog.
My programs are FIXED-PRICE and customized to fit your specific goals.
Good Manners & Obedience Training: Customized on and off-leash programs to develop a well-mannered family pet and beyond. The best program for you and your dog will be decided during your initial consultation. The Good Manners and Advanced Obedience programs are the foundation for the specialized Therapy Dog Program. All training programs are fixed cost and include a package of FREE private follow up one on one lessons.
Behavior Modification: Counseling, diagnostics and problem solving with clear corrective action plans, and veterinarian partnership when necessary. Behavior adjustments are included in training programs when appropriate. Customized fixed price programs for severe behavior issues also include a package of FREE private follow up one on one lessons.
Breed & Best Puppy Selection: Pick the best breed for your family, your goals and your lifestyle. If you are buying from a breeder or choosing a dog from the shelter, I can go with you to asses the dog with a temperment test to find the best pup or dog for your goals and objectives. $45 flat fee plus travel costs, if applicable.
Puppy Prep School: Speciality socialization to teach you how to prepare your puppy to adjust to the human world and become a well-mannered family member. Includes healthcare tips, house training, play biting training, object socialization and confidence building. For pups 7-16 weeks of age, this is an excellent foundation for Good Manners and Advanced Obedience. If your pup completes my prep school and later enrolls in another training program, you’ll get a credit towards the next phase program of your choice.
Trick Training: Amazing and helpful tricks for the well-behaved family pet. This is a good way to continue to challenge your well trained dog and help him further his potential to learn. Good Manners training is a foundation requirement for trick training. Customized fixed pricing, depending on the complexity of the trick. You can also enroll in my private one on one lessons and learn how to teach a dog tricks!

Private one on one lessons: Goal-based private lessons. If your dog has already been through one of my training programs, the cost of a private lesson is steeply discounted for the life of your dog, even if the dog is transferred to another owner.
